Band Bio Todd is the newest member of the group, joining the Men of our Times in April of 2005. Prior to joining the band Todd had established a great reputaion as a drummer who could cover several styles, and is widely respected amongst fellow drummers and peers. You might remember him as the solid beat behind regional favorites Sometimes I, Robin Banks, and Thunderheart. Todd loves his Pearls, the Boundary Waters, and a good cuban cigar. .......
AKA: "Samson", Todd could load all the band gear without any of our help.... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leslie shares the vocal leads with Pat, and is an integral part of the bands vocal harmonies. Her beautifully clear vocal delivery has been a noticable asset for the band. Prior to joining "the Men" in the Spring of 2001, Leslie played the bass guitar and sang lead and harmony with "Lillywhite" and "the Henry Lees". Originally from Milwaukee WI, she attributes her love of music to her mother Marilyn, a pianist who encouraged her to perform. Leslie's palate for music is experimental, diverse, and when it comes to her own listening enjoyment, her musical tastes range from alternative rock to bluegrass. You'll hear it all in her performance.
AKA: "the girl" "slowbear"...... Leslie's favorite singer is Alison Krauss. In her free time, she loves to go camping and hiking with her kids Gram and Will.
RESCUE LASSIE ....? Yes, it is true that Lassie rescued Timmy from the well on that old TV show .... but there are a lot of collies that need rescuing too. Leslie is a volunteer foster home, intake coordinator and is on the board of directors for Minnesota - Wisconsin Collie Rescue. Visit their web site at www.mwcr.org for more info ....

Gary has had a long career as both a performing and recording session bassist. He is also a primary background vocalist in the band and with his distinct style does share some of the lead vocal duties with Pat and Leslie. Along with Pat, he is a founding member of the group. In earlier years he toured the midwest in the progressive rock band "Solstice", and as a session player for various production shows. He has also recorded rhythm tracks in studios in Chicago and New York City, and helped numerous aspiring area artists in local studios. Gary's music tastes are all over. He is indebted to mom for taking him to all those lessons at an early age, and dad for putting up with all the noise and racket of the first basement bands. Gary also serves as the business coordinator for the group.
AKA: "mexican guy", or "egm" ..... GR Has influences from XTC, to John Hiatt, and back to Porcupine Tree. He's a founding member of 25 years, likes travelling, Wrigley Field, and his Musicman and Ampeg gear.

Pat does the majority of the lead vocals for the band along with Leslie. His clear "pop" style vocal perfomances have been his trademark for years, and if you ask him, he'll never hesitate to let you know, his biggest influence in music and the desire to perform has been the Beatles. Like Gary, he toured the midwest with "Solstice", and like Gary did similar productions and recording projects. Pat is multi-talented. He began with the "Men" playing drums, then went to lead vocals and guitar. He also plays keyboards, harmonica, and has always been the band's front man and focal point. Pat continues to write lyrics and songs, and you can't miss him in the band, he is the one with the biggest smile!
AKA: "the Dort", "Sparky"..... Pat's a founding member of the band, 25 years, a true Irishman, likes his hot tub and boat, plays teles and strats through his boutique SMF, and sees every Peter Gabriel concert he can make.
